The bilingual Facing our history booklet was written by Jane Regan in collaboration Daniel Morel, and with John Engle, Fremy Cesar and Abelard Xavier of Circles of Change. Others – popular educators in Haiti and the US – also lent a hand. It has an introduction and four sections, one for each of the sections of the exhibition. The photos and the texts in the booklet are used as guides for the series of four conversations which exhibition hosts organize each place the show is hung. People's reflections are recorded so that they can be shared with a greater public.
Conversation participants receive a copy of the booklet at the end of the series.
